    Candidates MUST have manufacturing experience. Automotive manufacturing is a plus.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • Professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CPA or CA)
    • A minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience in accounting in a manufacturing setting
    • Experience in automotive manufacturing is an asset.
    • Practical, relevant experience with Microsoft Office.
    • Good math skills and the ability to analyze data.
    • Strong listening and communication (verbal and written) skills.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and with a variable workload (flexible hours).
    • Ability to understand, anticipate and follow direction while exercising maturity of judgement.
    • Must be able to interact effectively with other team members.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact.

    DUTIES:

    • Complete accurate and consistent accounting records
    • Adherence to Government and Corporate policies and procedures
    • Perform banking functions and bank reconciliations as required
    • Review all capital expenditures to ensure proper account code distribution
    • Maintain monthly fixed assets addition schedule and all supporting documents
    • Maintain monthly tooling and analysis reconciliation schedule
    • Maintain, manage, track and update program related Purchase Orders and cash disbursements related to programs
    • Update the program proforma income state
