Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
Communicate financial performance to internal stakeholders
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Operator, Chief Growth Officer and other senior leaders in all matters relating to financial performance and compliance
Financial Planning & Analysis
Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability trends
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses of the restaurants
Establish project budgets to assist our Senior Directors of Operations with proper strategy/decision making
Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc financial reports
Complete month-end financial reporting to Chick-fil-A on behalf of our restaurants
Cash Flow Management
Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning efforts
Manage our cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency
Monitor and track all expenses utilizing the Restaurant Payables and Imaging System (RPIS)
Review all vendor invoices for accuracy
Reconcile credit cards monthly, ensuring receipts have been submitted via RPIS
Submit accurate and timely payments to all vendors and suppliers
Risk Management & Internal Controls
Identify financial and operational risks, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks
Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and best practices
Qualifications
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting
Chick-fil-A or QSR experience preferred
Competencies
Strong proficiency in Excel or related software
Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
