Position DescriptionTitle: Financial Analyst IIDepartment: FinanceImmediate Supervisor: Group ControllerStatus: Exempt SalariedPosition Purpose: The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department.
Principle Accountabilities
Responsible for consolidating reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, reoccurring meetings and providing regular system maintenance for companies various manufacturing locations across North America.Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations of business unitsCreates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensures that financial information has been recorded accurately.Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to manager.Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.Any and all financial analyst related tasks as directed by supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related rolesSupports cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis, manufacturing cost reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliation of cost-related accounts across manufacturing locations.Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial modelsProficiency in Consolidation and ERP softwares, such as LV and JDE, preferredKnowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferredExperience with SQL, preferredMust be results and deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workloadA strong desire to professionally grow and the ability to enthusiastically embrace new challengesMust be a team player with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
