DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTS TO: Controller
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
About the role
Responsible for the following: analyze, compute and prepare financial data for journal entries, general ledgers along other related financial statements.
Responsibilities
· Conduct physical inventory.
· Prepares general ledger entries.
· Enter invoices into ERS System.
· Responsible for the following Accounts Receivable functions:
o Applying payments, monthly invoicing, reconciling customer accounts/inquiries
· Create chargeback invoices as needed.
· Notifies accountant about pricing differences.
· Request aging reports from customers.
· Assists with annual external audit and other special projects as required.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant business field required.
· Four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must be proficient in QAD, Microsoft Office, FAS Asset Accounting, Hyperion and Monarch.
· Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
· Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
· Strong organizational and analytical skills.
· Experience in multi-cultural environment.
Preferred Skills
· Ability to development and analyse financial statements
· Perform daily banking procedures
· Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
