The journey begins here - with Global, a 1st Flagship Company, where we are currently looking for a Financial Analyst (Accounting & Cost Management) to join our team.**THIS POSITION IS LOCATED ONSITE IN IRVINE, CA**What You'll Be Doing:Analyze financial performance, operating costs, and budget variances, providing actionable insights to leadershipDevelop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models, cost analyses, forecasts, and reporting dashboards using advanced Excel functionsPrepare and distribute recurring financial reports, KPIs, and management presentationsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities across multiple business unitsSupport month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reportingAssist with project accounting, cost tracking, indirect rate analysis, and contract financial managementMaintain and improve ERP system data integrity, financial processes, and reporting capabilitiesReview and analyze labor, travel, subcontractor, and operating expenses to ensure accuracy and complianceSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll allocations, and general ledger activities as neededCoordinate employee travel expense reporting and reconciliation processes through Concur or similar travel management platformsAssist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentationCollaborate with operations, program management, and leadership teams to support financial decision-makingEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable government regulationsTravel to company locations as needed to support financial operations, reporting, audits, and business initiatives (approximately 10–15%)What You'll Need to Succeed:Minimum:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field3–5+ years of progressive accounting, financial analysis, or related experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis, financial modeling, and chart/dashboard creationExperience developing cost models, financial forecasts, budgets, and management reportsExperience working within an ERP system environmentStrong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingExperience analyzing large datasets and presenting findings to managementExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel up to 10–15% to support business operations across multiple locationsPreferred:Experience with Deltek Costpoint or other government contracting ERP systemsExperience with Concur Travel & Expense ManagementGovernment contracting, defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or project-based accounting experienceKnowledge of FAR, DFARS, DCAA, or related government compliance requirementsExperience supporting contract financial management, project accounting, or program finance functionsExperience preparing executive-level financial presentations and business analytics Global – A 1st Flagship Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
