    Job Summary:

    Provides management, direction and supervision of the Financial Aid Support Department and is directly responsible for the administration of all federal, state, private, and institutional financial aid in compliance with all federal, state, and accrediting body rules and regulations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Adheres to all school policies and procedures and operates at all times within state and federal statutes and regulations and within standards of accreditation.
    • Supervises, coordinates, and customarily and regularly directs the work of all direct reports in the Financial Aid Support Department.
    • Electronically processes critical financial aid documents between the campuses and third-party entities in accordance with federal and state regulations.
    • Monitors and follows up on expected financial aid disbursements from the various Title IV funding entities.
    • Creates student financial aid budgets for new students as well as crossover budgets and repack budgets for continuing students who attend for more than one academic year.
    • Creates budget and award letter details for re-enrolled students and resolves financial aid errors in our Student Information System software.
    • Acts as a liaison between the Remington College campuses, the RC corporate office, and third-party and/or government agencies with regard to the resolution of financial aid processing errors.
    • Processes all required documents from Campus documents to Global, and creates tentative budgets in Global for new, re-enrolls, repacks, and crossover students.
    • Attend weekly scrub calls with campuses that they process.
    • Maintains professional and effective working relationships with all other Company personnel.
    • Conducts his or her professional and personal life in a fashion that fosters a positive impression of the Company.
    • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    Education:

    • A Bachelor's degree from a four-college or university.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of three (3) years of federal student financial aid experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
