Class III - Financial Aid Representative
Primary Function:
To participate as a member of the Financial Aid Office team to achieve the goals of the department and the College.
Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Director of Financial Aid:
Organizational Relationships: Reports to the Director of Financial Aid and is responsible for the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.
Performance Standards: Performance is considered satisfactory when:
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree required.
Relevant education and/or experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the position may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use technology systems and software to support financial aid operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, databases, and other College-standard software applications.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as an effective member of a team.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of related experience, preferably in financial aid, higher education, or a comparable administrative environment.
