The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Financial Advisor who is ready to take the next step in their financial services career.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who already has a foundation in financial services, banking, insurance, or an early-stage advisory role and wants to expand into a broader financial planning practice.

As a Financial Advisor with MassMutual Pacific, you will build and own your book of business, develop new client relationships, and help individuals and families work toward their long-term financial goals through financial planning, investment strategies, retirement planning, and protection solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Meet with clients to understand their financial goals, priorities, and risk tolerance.
  • Help clients develop strategies involving investments, retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and financial protection.
  • Build your practice through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community involvement.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of available financial products and services to help identify appropriate client solutions.
  • Conduct ongoing client reviews as financial goals and circumstances evolve.
  • Collaborate with experienced advisors and specialists on financial planning, estate planning, insurance, investment, and other client needs.
  • Stay current on financial planning strategies, products, industry developments, and market trends.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable industry regulations and company policies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Life Insurance license required.
  • Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, investments, client relationship management, or an early-career Financial Advisor role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a long-term advisory practice.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • SIE, Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, Series 66, or Variable Products registration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Financial Advisor, Financial Professional, Banker, Registered Representative, Financial Consultant, Relationship Manager, or Insurance Professional.
  • Experience with financial planning or CRM software.
  • Background in business development, consultative sales, prospecting, or relationship management.
  • Passion for financial planning, investments, wealth management, and providing excellent client service.
