Financial Accountant

HCT seeks an experienced financial professional to serve as an Interim Financial Accountant for a 70+ bed hospital in AZ.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and entering journal entries into the general ledger
• Analysis of transactions and account reconciliations
• Ensuring accurate recording and closing of financial statements

Requirements: 

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Experience: 3 years of recent accounting experience in Workday is required. Healthcare accounting experience is strongly preferred as well as knowledge of GAAP.
• Computer Skills: Workday and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) are required. 

This position can be onsite or hybrid with occasional travel. Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car when onsite.
