Description

Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Finance Transformation Manager with a major corporation in Burbank, CA. 4 days per week on-site, Fridays Remote.

24 month contract
Pay Rate:
$80 - $83/hr DOE

Must Haves:
Can work independently with less day-to-day direction.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) experience.
  • Oracle PCM (Profitability and Cost Management) experience.
  • Prior experience implementing, managing, or supporting EPM applications in a functional capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, document, and prioritize new functional requirements from FP&A and G&A stakeholders; translate business needs into EPM design specifications for the technical build team.
  • Own issue triage and resolution: assess incoming tickets, distinguish functional vs. technical root cause, drive fixes with the technical/support team, and communicate status to business users.
  • Provide ongoing functional support for Planning/EPBCS and EDMCS - troubleshooting, data/metadata issues, calculation logic, and process questions.
  • Design and deliver Oracle EPM functional training for Finance teams (job aids, working sessions, office hours) to build self-sufficiency and reduce recurring support load.
  • Own functional design documentation and requirements traceability - design specs, configuration decisions, test scripts/UAT support - kept current as the system evolves.
  • Own EPM data security and access administration in a functional capacity: define security classes/roles aligned to org structure, manage provisioning requests, and periodically review access for appropriateness.
  • Partner with other Finance Transformation workstreams (e.g., systems, reporting, process design) to ensure EPM changes align with broader transformation priorities.

The day-to-day responsibilities described for this role include:
  • Managing incidents for a portfolio of corporate EPM applications.
  • Handling intake and evaluating incoming requests/issues from the business.
  • Reviewing and triaging issues to the appropriate solutions or teams.
  • Managing application enhancement requests through completion.
  • Gathering and managing functional requirements.
  • Supporting access management for the corporate application portfolio.
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience implementing or managing Oracle EPM applications in a functional capacity.
  • Finance domain expertise in FP&A processes, with specific depth in G&A planning and reporting.
Required Functional / Business Skills:
  • Strong Finance domain expertise.
  • Experience with FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) processes.
  • Knowledge of G&A planning and reporting.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow requests/intake processes, since requests come through ServiceNow.
  • Incident management, requirements intake, enhancement management, and access management experience.
  • SQL usage for investigating and resolving data-related issues.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) experience.
  • Oracle PCM (Profitability and Cost Management) experience.
  • Prior experience implementing, managing, or supporting EPM applications in a functional capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with EDMCS and PCM.
  • Ability to write SQL queries for data validation/troubleshooting.
  • Experience designing consolidation and labor planning solutions in EPM.
