Client Overview: A prominent regional energy and utility infrastructure provider is seeking a
Finance Systems Administrator to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $55/hr - $60/hr
Position Overview: The Finance Systems Administrator will support Finance system administration, master data management, technology initiatives, and analytical projects. The ideal candidate will have SAP R/3 experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple priorities.
Responsibilities of the Finance Systems Administrator:- Maintain and manage Finance-related SAP R/3 master data, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate and process Finance SAP access requests and support user access reviews.
- Support SOX compliance activities for Finance systems, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation and evidence, system access administration, periodic access reviews, and IT General Controls (ITGC) execution and documentation.
- Assist with Finance technology projects, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and project coordination.
- Perform ad hoc financial, operational, and system analyses to support management decision-making.
- Support regulatory and rate case activities, including research, data gathering, and responses to interrogatories.
Required Experience/Skills for the Finance Systems Administrator:- Experience with SAP R/3, including master data maintenance and/or security access management.
- Strong Excel, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Independent working capability across multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Finance Systems Administrator:- Utility, regulatory, or Finance systems experience.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
