    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ? Accounting & Financial Reporting

    • Oversee the divisions accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in all balance sheet reconciliations, and driving month-end closing activities.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS accounting standards.
    • POC (Percentage of Completion) Accounting: Ensure that revenue and costs are recognized accurately in accordance with IFRS guidelines for percentage-of-completion accounting.
    • Manage Accounting (balance sheet), accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) teams.
    • Oversee all audit and internal control activities to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.

    ? Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    • Lead the divisions financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
    • Analyze financial performance trends, identifying risks and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and variance analysis to track progress against key financial targets.

    ? Operations Business Partnering

    • Partner with operations leadership to drive cost reduction initiatives and improve efficiency throughout the division.
    • Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects by providing financial analysis, ROI modeling, and performance tracking.
    • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and other operational teams to identify cost savings opportunities and enhance profitability.

    ? Commercial Costing & Cash Flow Management

    • Support costing models and analysis to ensure accurate product costing and margin assessment.
    • Review new orders cashflows models to ensure projects are cash positive throughout.

    COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis, with strong attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems (Made2Manage / SAP), financial reporting tools, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial best practices.
    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CPA, CMA, or MBA is required
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
    • Prior experience in a manufacturing or products-based industry is highly desirable.
    • Experience working in an international environment and managing teams.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CPA, CMA, or MBA is required
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
    • Prior experience in a manufacturing or products-based industry is highly desirable.
    • Experience working in an international environment and managing teams.
