Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Finance & Restructuring Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 100 firm in Dallas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in sophisticated commercial finance, restructuring, workouts, and creditors’ rights matters involving lenders, borrowers, financial institutions, investors, and other sophisticated clients.

Ideal Background

2–6 years of finance, restructuring, bankruptcy, or related transactional experience

• Experience with commercial lending, secured finance, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, or other sophisticated financing transactions

• Experience representing banks, financial institutions, private lenders, borrowers, investors, or other corporate clients

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, guarantees, intercreditor agreements, and other financing documents

• Experience with workouts, restructurings, distressed transactions, and creditors’ rights matters is highly desirable

• Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, insolvency matters, or bankruptcy-related transactions is a plus

• Ability to manage complex financing and restructuring matters from initial diligence and documentation through closing or resolution

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent client service and communication skills

• Strong academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
