Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a field applicable to this position or equivalent experience
• 2 years’ experience in Corporate Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• knowledge of accounting principles and general business practices
• knowledge of Business Analysis
• ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working
• ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities
• ability to inspect, cleanse, transform and model data from various sources with the goal of discovering useful information/trends, informing conclusion and supporting decision-making
• ability to interpret, analyze, and explain financial information

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting/ Finance
• 2 years in financial analysis, planning, process improvements and accounting principles
• knowledge of project management techniques and continuous quality improvement methodology
• basic knowledge of Corporate Accounting functions and Publix Operations
• basic knowledge of Internal Controls and SOX regulations
• advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• knowledge of Alteryx for data preparation, blending, analysis, and workflow automation
• knowledge of Microsoft Visio for creating process flows, system diagrams, and business process models
• knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• knowledge of SAP/BW
