We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our U.S. Rebuild team in North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan''s Purse are to help people in Jesus'' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
Direct financial operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices and payment documentation
Assist the U.S. Rebuild VP and the Director of US Rebuild in preparing budgets for the rebuild sites and monitor the spending on the budgets
Maintain all cash and bank ledgers, monitor cash advances, and field expense reports. Review project activity and ensure all cash, check, and bank transfer transactions are recorded
Oversee Purchase Card program, including policy adherence, weekly credit card reconciliations, receipts processed in a timely manner; serve as point of contact for permissions, card issues, and potential fraudulent transactions
Provide support to the Rebuild staff regarding financial policies/practices and related areas as required. Stay abreast of financial training and updates, and educate and inform the Rebuild Staff of these changes
Prepare required monthly financial reports by specified deadlines, including project balance reports and budget reports. Ensure financial/accounting activity is carried out in accordance with the Ministry''s field accounting policies.

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent and five (5) to seven (7) years'' related accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of accounting education and experience
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies is required.
