    Are you passionate about driving financial excellence across complex, cross-functional supply chain operations? Amazon Last Mile (AMZL) Central Programs Finance is seeking a Finance Manager to support our Cross Mile Continuous Improvement function. In this role, you"ll be at the center of initiatives that eliminate defects and optimize performance across all supply chain lines of business. This unique position requires someone who can leverage data-driven insights and strong business partnerships to influence decision-making at multiple organizational levels.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Monitor and analyze project performance across all supply chain lines of business, ensuring initiatives achieve their expected financial entitlement and identifying opportunities for optimization
    • Build and maintain scalable financial tools, models, and reporting mechanisms that enable data-driven decision-making and support business growth
    • Partner with operations teams to drive strategic initiatives across the supply chain, providing financial guidance and insights that influence cross-functional stakeholders using data and informal authority
    • Conduct deep financial analysis to identify complex data integrity issues, evaluate program effectiveness, and deliver clear narratives and recommendations to senior leadership
    • Develop and strengthen finance partnerships across multiple organizational levels, challenging assumptions when necessary and ensuring alignment between financial analyses and operational goals

    A day in the life

    Your day begins by checking the performance of active projects across the supply chain, identifying trends and potential issues that require attention. You"ll collaborate closely with operations teams to understand their initiatives, determine where they impact the supply chain, and provide financial insights that help drive results. Much of your time is spent building analytical tools and AI-generated reports that help the business scale efficiently. You"ll engage in strategic discussions, translating complex financial concepts into actionable recommendations for partners at various organizational levels. Throughout the day, you"ll use data to influence decision-making across lines of business, ensuring that continuous improvement efforts deliver measurable value.
