Investment Management and Cost Control

Monitor and analyze investment performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets. Prepare financial models and investment appraisals, including ROI, NPV, and IRR. Support investment decision-making with data-driven insights and risk analysis. Track capital expenditures and ensure alignment with approved investment plans.

Develop, monitor, and maintain budgets for cost centers and investments. Analyze cost variances and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Implement and maintain cost control systems and procedures. Prepare regular management reports on costs and investments. Provide detailed variance analysis and actionable recommendations. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulations. Support internal and external audits related to investments and cost management. Maintain documentation for investment approvals and cost control processes. Work closely with procurement, accounting, project teams, and senior management. Provide financial guidance to support operational and strategic initiatives. Accuracy of budgets and forecasts. Cost savings and efficiency improvements. Timeliness and quality of financial reports. Investment performance versus targets.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance required. 3+ years of relevant experience, including financial planning. Experience with SAP, OneStream, and other accounting software/tools. Experience with capital expenditures, capital budgeting, capitalization, and financing decisions. Manufacturing experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make sound recommendations with minimal oversight. Ability to make independent decisions on cost and investment matters, while escalating when appropriate. High attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex modeling and financial simulations. Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard design and data visualization. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
