Finance Manager - FP&A & Commercial Finance | Global Beauty & Cosmetics

Full-Time Contract | El Segundo, CA | Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite - Industrial Color extended

Industrial Color is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Finance Manager to support the Global Finance team of a leading international beauty and makeup brand.

This is a full-time contract position through Industrial Color, supporting an ongoing business need within a fast-paced global cosmetics organization. We are seeking someone interested in a long-term opportunity, with an anticipated commitment of at least two years.

The role combines financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial modeling, budget management, performance analysis and strategic business partnering across Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in beauty, makeup, cosmetics, skincare, consumer products or other brand-led businesses, who understand the commercial dynamics of product launches, marketing investment and consumer-facing brands.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable managing recurring financial processes and developing sophisticated financial analyses to support commercial decisions.

This opportunity is particularly suited to an experienced Senior Financial Analyst ready to take the next step, or an existing Finance Manager interested in developing their career within the global beauty industry.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or another quantitative discipline.
• Approximately 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting or a related finance function.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities, including scenario analysis, forecasting and business case development.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting and performance management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve efficiency, automate routine tasks and enhance financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex or unstructured business problems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information into clear recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable balancing strategic analysis with recurring financial and operational responsibilities.
• Must be able to work onsite in El Segundo, CA, three days per week.

Preferred

• Experience within beauty, cosmetics, consumer products, retail, fashion, entertainment or another fast-paced, brand-led environment.
• Experience partnering with Marketing, commercial or product teams.
• Experience working within a large, global or matrixed organization.
• MBA and/or CPA is a plus.

Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.

This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility to work in-office and remotely. Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required during major projects.
