    Description

Our client, a growing, private equity-backed medical technology company with approximately $100 million in revenue and a global footprint, is seeking a Finance Manager to join its Dallas-based team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting and finance professional to broaden their experience in a highly visible role within a growing, global organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President of US Finance, the Finance Manager will have meaningful exposure to executive leadership, private equity ownership, and strategic business decisions—opportunities that are uncommon at the manager level.

The role offers a true blend of accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A, making it ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is ready to expand beyond traditional accounting responsibilities. With the potential to assume greater leadership responsibility over time, this individual will have the opportunity to develop into a key finance leader within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Financial Reporting & Accounting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate reporting requirements.

    • Financial Analysis & Planning: Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis, translating financial results into actionable insights that support business decisions.

    • Technical Accounting: Research and document complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, as applicable, and ensure appropriate accounting treatment for non-routine transactions.

    • Balance Sheet & Consolidations: Oversee complex reconciliations, intercompany accounting, deferred revenue, accruals, and other key accounts while maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.

    • Cash Flow & Working Capital: Lead cash flow forecasting and analysis to improve visibility into liquidity, working capital, and future cash requirements.

    • Audit & Tax Coordination: Serve as the primary internal contact for external audits and coordinate with external tax advisors on federal and state income tax matters, while overseeing sales tax compliance in partnership with the Accounting Operations Manager.

    • Systems & Process Improvement: Lead the financial reporting workstream for ERP implementation and optimization initiatives, including reporting design, system testing, data validation, and process improvements.

    • Internal Controls & Compliance: Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, and corporate teams to align financial reporting, forecasts, and business performance expectations.

    • Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to special projects and broader business initiatives, gaining exposure to executive-level priorities and the financial considerations that drive business performance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA strongly preferred.

    • 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including technical accounting and external audit exposure.

    • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, including the ability to research and document accounting conclusions.

    • Experience with complex account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and financial consolidations.

    • Manufacturing experience preferred, with medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience considered a plus.

    • Experience supporting ERP implementations, system upgrades, or significant finance technology initiatives.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

    • Ability to communicate complex financial and accounting concepts effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

    • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

    Why Consider This Opportunity?

    • Executive exposure: Work directly with the VP of US Finance and gain visibility with senior leadership.

    • Private equity experience: Participate in the financial planning, reporting, and performance management processes of a PE-backed business.

    • Broader finance responsibilities: Build on an accounting foundation while developing FP&A, forecasting, modeling, and strategic analysis capabilities.

    • Global business environment: Gain experience working across corporate and international teams within a growing medical technology organization.

    • Long-term career potential: Join a team where this role is viewed as a potential successor to the VP of US Finance over the coming years, creating a compelling opportunity for professional growth.

This opportunity is particularly well suited for a technically strong accounting professional who enjoys understanding the bigger picture, wants to develop broader business and financial acumen, and is ready to take the next step toward a senior finance leadership role.
