A Brief Overview
The US LBM Market Finance Manager (MFM) will serve as the lead finance partner for an assigned Market, providing financial leadership and decision support to Market and Divisional Presidents and other operational leaders. The MFM is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis while partnering with market leadership to drive business performance, support strategic initiatives, and align operational decisions with financial objectives. This role collaborates closely with Corporate and Shared Services teams to ensure consistent financial processes and support operational excellence across the Market.
What you will do
Support Business Operations – Serve as the primary financial lead for the Market, partnering with Market and Divisional leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, evaluate capital investments, drive operational and financial initiatives, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve working capital, free cash flow, and overall business performance.
Financial Planning – Lead the development of the Market's annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans to achieve business objectives and maximize returns on capital investments. Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends and opportunities, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to Market and Regional leadership to improve business performance and monitor progress against key strategic and financial objectives.
Financial Analysis & Reporting – Oversee the Market's financial analysis and reporting processes, including the preparation, review, and presentation of monthly financial results to Market, Divisional, and Regional leadership. Provide meaningful variance analysis and actionable insights into operational and commercial performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results, evaluate operating unit performance, recommend corrective actions to achieve financial targets, and perform routine and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making.
Mergers & Acquisitions – Support the financial integration of acquired businesses within the Market by executing integration plans, implementing US LBM financial planning and reporting processes, developing acquisition budgets aligned with business cases, monitoring post-acquisition performance, and partnering with Shared Services to implement accounting policies, internal controls, and system conversions.
Governance & Continuous Improvement – Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls across the Market while driving operational excellence through the adoption of best practices and active participation in regional and enterprise initiatives, including ERP implementations, market optimization efforts, and other cross-functional projects requiring financial expertise.

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA highly preferred.
Experience Qualifications
10+ years of broad financial expertise required (finance, FP&A, accounting)
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
Skills and Abilities
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with varying levels including senior leadership
Superior management skills; ability to influence & engage direct & indirect reports and peers.
Strong mentoring, and coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.
Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.
Travel Requirements
