Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: East Hanover, NJ – Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Pay Rate: $65.02–$74/hr
Duration: 1 year
The Accounting Manager will oversee general accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal accounting processes, and financial controls. The role will manage ledger accounts and financial statements, support audit requirements, oversee financially related contracts, and develop accounting strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline required
- CPA designation preferred
Required Skills
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- General ledger and financial statement management
- Budgeting and financial forecasting
- Internal accounting controls and process improvement
- Audit preparation and financial documentation
- Cash requirements and obligations forecasting
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
- Accounting, purchasing, and payroll systems
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and/or ADP
Preferred Skills
- Biotech industry experience
- CPA certification
- Financial contract oversight and reporting
- Accounting policy development and strategic planning
