Whether you're building the business case for a new data center, modeling the unit economics of a generative AI service, or advising sales leadership on compensation strategy - your work directly impacts how AWS serves customers around the world.

    Key job responsibilities

    As a Finance Manager, you will join one of our dynamic teams supporting areas such as infrastructure investment, cloud services, AI solutions, sales and marketing, partner ecosystems, central planning, enterprise deals, risk management or sustainability.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Own end-to-end financial planning, analysis, and strategic recommendations for a high-growth business area - spanning capital investments, P&L management, pricing strategy, and go-to-market optimization
    • Build financial models that inform multi-billion dollar decisions across infrastructure expansion, product launches, enterprise deal structures, and generative AI investments
    • Partner directly with senior business leaders as a trusted advisor on investment priorities, resource allocation, and long-term growth strategy
    • Develop and present insights to senior leadership through business reviews, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations
    • Influence long-term business strategy through scenario modeling, business case development, and economic analysis
    • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and operations teams to translate business priorities into financial frameworks
    • Drive operational excellence and controllership across your business area, utilizing automation and AI-powered tools to enhance financial processes and accelerate decision-making
    • Partner with business and operations leaders to provide financial strategy and controllership for AWS's sustainability commitments - including renewable energy investments, carbon emissions reporting, and water stewardship - ensuring financial rigor for sustainable, long-term growth
