    Description

    Amazon MGM Studios (AMS) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a Finance Manager to support the business and finance teams, with a focus on the Unscripted and Consumer Products & Licensing (CP&L) business. This role will focus on both operational finance; where you will interface directly with business operations, and core financial planning cycles, including Month-End Close, Quarterly Guidance forecasts and Annual Operating Plans. Further, this role will lead FP&A efforts around special projects, such as M&A and business/system integrations.

    The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid business judgement capable of driving an organization to the right results, strong business partnership building, exceptional excel/systems skills, keen attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills. They will have demonstrated success in a fast-paced, complex, global, results-oriented environment. The team needs a self-starter, who is able to work efficiently and autonomously. They must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary finance business partner for the Consumer Products & Licensing (CP&L) and Unscripted businesses, providing strategic financial guidance, operational finance support, and decision-making insights.
    • Lead month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning for CP&L and Unscripted business.
    • Ensure data is accurately reflected in financial planning systems,
    • Drive process automation to streamline current processes and enhance financial controllership
    • Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations
    • Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
