    The Finance Director-Clarke US is a senior finance leader responsible for the full spectrum of finance activities across a fast-growing, multinational industrial products and EPC business. This role serves as a strategic business partner to business unit Vice President, ensuring finance scales effectively with business growth while maintaining strong financial discipline.

    The position combines leadership across FP&A, accounting, cash flow management, and project-based financial analysis (including percentage-of-completion accounting), with a strong focus on profitability, execution, and operational insight. The Finance Director-Clarke US will lead and develop a high-performing team while ensuring alignment with corporate finance requirements and governance standards.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Finance Partnership
      Act as a trusted finance partner to the Vice President, providing clear insights on performance, risks, and opportunities. Translate operational drivers into financial outcomes and support decisions on pricing, investments, and growth.

    • Scaling the Finance Function
      Build and evolve finance capabilities to support business growth and complexity. Ensure processes, systems, and controls scale effectively while driving continuous improvement.

    • Project Financial Oversight
      Oversee financial performance of complex projects, including margins, costs, risks, and revenue recognition. Partner with commercial and operations teams on bids, contracts, and execution.

    • FP&A Leadership
      Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Drive performance through KPIs, variance analysis, and forward-looking insights to support decision-making.

    • Cash Flow & Working Capital
      Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital. Improve cash conversion, collections, inventory, and payables while linking operations to cash outcomes.

    • Reporting, Controls & Compliance
      Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and corporate policies. Maintain strong internal controls, governance, and audit readiness.

    • Team Leadership
      Lead and develop a high-performing finance team. Foster accountability, collaboration, and development of future leaders.

    • Corporate Alignment
      Serve as the key link to corporate finance. Ensure alignment with reporting, policies, and governance, and clearly communicate financial performance to leadership.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and active CPA

    • 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in a multinational, industrial or project-based business.

    • Deep understanding of revenue recognition and project accounting including over time recognition concept.

    • Strong experience in FP&A, cash flow management, and operational finance

    • Proven ability to partner directly with a Vice President or business leader as a strategic advisor

    • Strong leadership and team development capabilities

    Preferred:

    • Experience in a public company environment (SOX, audit, governance).

    • System experience in OneStream and Navision is desired
