Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a well-established organization within the consumer goods industry for a hybrid position based in Greensboro, NC (2 days onsite weekly). The Finance Business Partner will serve as a key business partner to senior Sales and Marketing leadership, driving financial visibility and performance improvements across core business functions.
Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities across key financial areas including profit and loss statements, capital investments, and working capital management
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support scenario planning, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Sales, Marketing, HR, R&D, and analytics teams to influence business performance and identify growth opportunities
- Analyze financial trends and variances related to pricing, volume, product mix, and costs, delivering clear insights and recommendations
- Enhance reporting processes, dashboards, and financial tools to improve visibility, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decisions
Requirements of the Finance Business Partner
- 4+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Strong proficiency in Excel along with experience using financial systems such as SAP, BPC, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Compensation for the Finance Business Manager
- Salary Range: $170,000
