Overview
Direct Counsel is recruiting a mid-level finance associate attorney to join a rapidly growing Structured Finance practice. The role focuses on representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Structure and document CLO transactions for financial institutions and asset managers.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex finance agreements.
Advise clients on transactional and regulatory considerations.
Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and internal teams to manage deal execution.
Qualifications
Mid-level experience in structured finance, preferably representing banks or asset managers.
JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in New York.
Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a collaborative environment.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this role is $235,000 – $365,000, depending on experience.
