About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Insurance Specialist for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity with a well-established automotive financial services organization in Irving, TX.
This position supports the Finance & Insurance Department within the Recovery Bankruptcy Center and is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in financial services and corporate operations.
Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply! Candidates with a bachelor's degree and relevant work, internship, or professional experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Collect service contract and insurance refunds from dealerships
- Process and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Prepare and complete reconciliation reports
- Research account information and respond to research requests
- Identify and assist with resolving discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate and follow up with dealerships and internal departments as needed
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while ensuring accuracy
- Assist with special projects and departmental assignments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous professional, internship, administrative, banking, finance, insurance, accounting, or customer service experience preferred
- Recent college graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working with financial transactions, reports, and detailed account information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
