Finance and Accounting Manager

A growing global fintech company is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. This role will support financial reporting, regulatory submissions, accounting operations, reconciliations, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, treasury, or financial reporting.
• Required: Experience within a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) or Broker/Dealer (Client).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, processes, and controls.
• Experience with enterprise accounting systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and the month-end close process.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and regulatory submissions.
• Manage reconciliations between accounting, back-office systems, and source documents.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and breaks in a timely manner.
• Maintain and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
• Research and implement new accounting policies and requirements.
• Prepare routine accounting entries and support NetSuite cleanup and maintenance.
• Partner with the CFO and Finance team on financial reporting and operations.
