Job Title:Final Finish & Inspection Technician
Pay: $18.00/hr
Position Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented Final Finish & Inspection Technician to help ensure our painted and stained furniture meets the highest quality standards before it ships to customers. In this role, you'll carefully clean, inspect, and prepare finished tables, chairs, and other products by removing dust, fingerprints, and other surface imperfections while identifying any quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Wipe down and clean finished painted and stained tables, chairs, and furniture components.
- Inspect products for scratches, runs, blemishes, dust, or other finish imperfections.
- Remove fingerprints, dust, and residue using approved cleaning materials and techniques.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards before packaging or final assembly.
- Identify and report finish defects that require touch-up or rework.
- Handle finished products with care to prevent damage during the inspection process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures.
- Perform other production and finishing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, quality inspection, finishing, or production experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Ability to distinguish minor cosmetic defects and inconsistencies.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Steel-toed boots are required.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Work Schedule:
Evening shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 3:30 AM
