    Job Summary:

    Reporting to the Fielding & IPE QC Supervisor, the Fielding Quality Control Specialist is responsible for establishing and implementing an efficient QC process of all permitting applications received from internal teams and contractors to ensure high quality engineering is being produced. Maintain full compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local rules and regulations and company-established standards. The Fielding Quality Control Specialist communicates with all engineers, pole owners, utilities, DOTS, and permitting teams to ensure they collect all required information to build the pole submittal package and efficiently submit the application. Must thoroughly understand all relevant issues, timelines, and priorities for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinating with our business development dept to coordinate upcoming builds and the necessary documents that will be needed to execute an aerial or underground permit.

    What you will be doing:

    • Communicate with all necessary parties to ensure all required pole submittal package information is accurate and be able to efficiently submit the application
    • Will attend market meetings and provide updates on any jobs.
    • Locate appropriate poles needed for application submittal.
    • Coordinate with Permitting and Engineering to prioritize pole applications that need to be submitted.
    • Coordinate with CAD and Design to obtain appropriate maps and drawings needed for application submittal.
    • Annotate Map site files and efficiently locate entities on pole and height of each attachment.
    • Make and assign KMZs/maps to necessary parties
    • Create and edit Excel documents that contain relevant fielding information (pole counts, UG or AE, etc.)
    • Process invoices from contractors in a timely manner
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What You Need For This Position:

    • Highschool diploma or GED required
    • 2 years of Telecommunications Field experience is preferred.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent written & verbal communication Skills.
    • Priority & Deadline Driven.
    • Detail Oriented.
