Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Field Welder/Fabricator/Installer for placement with one of our clients. This position is responsible for the on-site fabrication, welding, and installation of sheet metal products including ductwork, specialty components, and custom assemblies across a variety of commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship and is comfortable working in dynamic field environments, including on ladders and at elevation.
Requirements:
Professional or School experience with Welding/Fabricating or Field Installation
Proficiency in at least two welding processes (MIG, TIG, Flux Core, or Stick); AWS certification a plus
Experience working with galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, and/or carbon steel
Ability to safely work from ladders for extended periods — comfort with heights is required
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation to and from job sites (this position does not require operating a company vehicle)
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions
