The Toro Company is now hiring a Field Test Technician at our Rancho Mirage, CA golf course test location. The Field Test Technician visually inspects, evaluates, operates units, gathers data, and designs test equipment to determine compliance of products to safety standards, performance requirements and durability parameters. Summarizes and reports findings to Supervisor of the Field Test Site and Test Engineers for inclusion in overall test programs.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 5:30AM-2PM
Approximate Pay Range: $26-33/hour, Depending on Experience

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements.
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Technical College with minimum of two-year degree or certificate. A minimum of two years of experience as a mechanical technician with demonstrated troubleshooting capability.
Graduate of an accredited university or college with a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering related technology (ex. Automotive, Manufacturing, Design.) A minimum of one year of experience in the mechanical technician field and demonstrated troubleshooting capability.
Strong learning aptitude.
Basic Skills in MS Office Applications is required.
Must demonstrate the ability to learn new programs effectively.
Basic troubleshooting skills in Mechanical and DC Electrical.
Experience with data acquisition devices highly desirable, e.g. SoMat, etc.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
