Field Technician, Small Engines (Residential)

Your impact each day

• Travel to several homes daily to troubleshoot and repair outdoor power equipment—lawn mowers, lawn tractors, leaf blowers, and more.
• Provide five-star service with clear communication and dependable workmanship.
• Suggest helpful, value-added options that keep homes clean, comfortable, and protected.
• Keep your truck organized, maintained, and stocked; handle parts accurately and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Rewards and security

• Base pay: $18 - $20 per hour (dependent on experience, certification, and location).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Mechanical know-how and comfort with diagnostic and repair tools.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing home appliances/outdoor power equipment preferred.
• Follow defined procedures to ensure quality outcomes.
• Use a smartphone to order parts and manage work.
• Valid driver’s license for the state(s) where you work.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including required overtime.
• Read, interpret, and apply technical information to resolve issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Physical capability to constantly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Constant reaching outward; handling/fingering; standing, walking, sitting, and typing using a keyboard. Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, stooping, climbing, and crawling. Occasional reaching above shoulder.
• Ability to drive automatic transmission vehicle.
