What You Will Do: In this role, you will handle the physical rooftop setup and cabling, then team up with our remote Engineering department to get the client connected and online.
Install & Setup: Safely install and uninstall equipment on client rooftops.
Cabling: Run, install, and terminate shielded CAT5/CAT6 and RJ11 cables.
Tech Deployment: Mount and physically install Access Points, Phones, Cameras, Routers, and Switches.
Troubleshooting: Conduct routine field maintenance and basic physical troubleshooting with remote support and direction from our Engineering department.
Safety First: Strictly adhere to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself, your team, and our customers.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience with a Microwave Internet Service Provider preferred.
Previous experience with Cox, DirecTV, or satellite installations preferred.
Familiarity with cable testing equipment such as Fluke or Ideal testers.
Comfortable using a field laptop to connect to equipment and adjust basic IP settings.
Manual dexterity with proficient use of hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Confident working at various heights, including carrying a 32-foot extension ladder and safely navigating single- and multi-story residential and commercial rooftops.
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Visual acuity to distinguish colors and fine details for installation and troubleshooting activities.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends.
Availability for occasional evening overtime as needed.
Willingness to travel out of town periodically as required.

Shift and Schedule:
40 hours/week. Scheduled days will vary (Monday–Sunday).
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 an hour to start
