The Opportunity

As a Field Technician at LEH Homes, you will work directly on our active job sites, helping turn construction plans into finished homes. This is an entry-level, hands-on role where you will learn the residential construction process from the ground up while supporting experienced project managers.

If you enjoy physical work, solving day-to-day problems, and seeing the results of your effort in completed homes, this role offers a clear path to grow your skills and build a long-term career in residential construction.

What You'll Do

• Assist construction managers with daily field tasks across multiple active homebuilding sites.
• Perform basic repairs and touch-ups, including caulking, painting, patching, and small fix-it items.
• Prepare homes and job sites for final walk-throughs by completing punch list items and detailed cleanup.
• Help coordinate and communicate schedules with vendors and subcontractors to keep work on track.
• Deliver materials between sites, handle minor inventory tasks, and help keep tools and supplies organized.

What Success Looks Like

• Within the first few months, you reliably keep assigned job sites clean, organized, and ready for the next phase of work each day.
• You complete basic repair and punch list tasks accurately and on time, reducing delays before final inspections and walk-throughs.
• Construction managers and subcontractors can count on you to follow instructions, show up on time, and communicate clearly about progress or issues.
• By the end of your first year, you demonstrate stronger construction skills, need less day-to-day direction, and are trusted to handle routine field tasks independently.

What We're Looking For

• Genuine interest in residential construction and a desire to learn on the job from experienced professionals.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures consistently.
• Basic repair or handyman skills (painting, patching, caulking, minor fixes) are helpful, with a willingness to build on them.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, ability to lift materials, work on your feet outdoors, and commute within 30–45 minutes of the El Paso area.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay: $16 to $18 per hour, depending on experience.
• Consistent full-time schedule with work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
