Your mission

  • Visit multiple customers per day to diagnose and repair appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves
  • Create an exceptional, trust-building customer experience at every step
  • Recommend helpful, value-added options that keep homes clean, comfortable, and protected
  • Keep your truck tidy and parts well-managed for speed and accuracy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What success requires

  • High school diploma or GED
  • EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification
  • Mechanical know-how and proficiency with testing/repair tools
  • Appliance diagnosis and repair experience preferred
  • Process discipline and the ability to follow documented procedures
  • Smartphone savvy, including ordering parts on the go
  • Valid driver’s license in the state(s) where you’ll work
  • Travel up to 100% as needed
  • Availability for variable hours and required overtime
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply technical documentation
  • Clear verbal and written communication; ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Physical capability to constantly lift/carry/push/pull up to 20 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs
  • Constant reaching outward; handling/fingering; standing, walking, sitting; typing on a keyboard
  • Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, stooping, climbing, crawling
  • Occasional reaching above shoulder height
  • Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle

Pay, benefits, and growth

  • $18 - $30 hourly base rate, depending on experience, certification, and location
