Overview:
The Field Support Specialist plays a key role within the Patient Solutions department, serving as a critical point of contact for field-based inquiries from sales organizations and other stakeholders. Reporting to the Program Manager, this individual is responsible for managing incoming questions, ensuring program protections are upheld, and identifying, documenting, and reporting adverse events and safety information in accordance with program requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manages questions and inquiries from the field.
- Manages questions from the sales organizations.
- Ensures protection is insured.
- Identify and report adverse events pursuant to program requirements
- Identify, document and report safety information
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous work experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service.
- 5 years of progressive health care business experience (SPP, hospitals, or insurance).
- Professional level skills in computer use, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and keyboard skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to facilitate work with a wide range of individuals and groups from culturally diverse publics.
- Problem solving skills.
- Second language – Spanish preferred.
Pay Range:
USD $23.11 - USD $28.89 /Hr.
