    Field SupervisorBlue Line Drywall & BuildersFull-Time | HourlyLocation: Various Job SitesAbout the RoleBlue Line Drywall & Builders is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee daily field operations across various active construction projects. This position will be responsible for supervising field employees and subcontractors, coordinating day-to-day job-site activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and Blue Line standards.The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with strong construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage crews while coordinating with Project Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, and other trades.Responsibilities
    • Supervise and coordinate Blue Line field employees, subcontractors, and crews across assigned job sites.
    • Monitor daily jobsite activities, manpower, productivity, and overall project progress.
    • Ensure work is performed according to project drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
    • Review project plans and drawings to understand scope of work and upcoming field requirements.
    • Coordinate daily and upcoming work with Project Managers, foremen, subcontractors, and General Contractor representatives.
    • Assign and communicate daily priorities to field personnel and ensure crews have the information needed to complete their work.
    • Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays, manpower issues, material shortages, or other concerns that may impact progress.
    • Communicate manpower and material needs to the appropriate Project Manager in advance.
    • Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are properly received, stored, and available when needed.
    • Inspect completed and ongoing work for quality and identify items requiring correction.
    • Address field issues as they arise and communicate significant concerns to Project Management.
    • Coordinate Blue Line's work with other trades to minimize conflicts and maintain project schedules.
    • Attend jobsite meetings as required.
    • Maintain regular communication with Project Managers regarding job progress, scheduling, manpower, materials, and field conditions.
    • Document jobsite progress, issues, and other relevant information through daily reports, photographs, or company systems as required.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
    • Enforce company policies and jobsite safety requirements.
    • Ensure employees and subcontractors follow all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
    • Identify unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to correct them.
    • Maintain professional working relationships with General Contractors, subcontractors, employees, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
    • Travel between assigned project locations as required.
    • Perform additional field-related duties as needed to support successful project completion.
    Qualifications
    • Previous construction field experience required.
    • Previous supervisory, foreman, or field leadership experience strongly preferred.
    • Drywall, framing, carpentry, insulation, or related construction experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite operations.
    • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
    • Ability to effectively supervise employees and subcontractors.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing jobsite conditions.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
    • Comfortable communicating with Project Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
    • Basic computer and mobile technology skills for email, project documentation, photographs, and company applications.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
    • OSHA certification preferred.
    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to regularly walk active construction sites and navigate uneven surfaces.
    • Ability to climb stairs and ladders as required.
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to work in active construction environments and varying weather conditions.
    • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
