Our client is a well-established and growing landscape contractor serving commercial and public-sector projects throughout Southern California. The company has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliable project execution, and long-term relationships with major general contractors and property owners.

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Field Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership across active landscape and irrigation projects. This individual will oversee field operations, lead crews and foremen, coordinate labor and equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Lead, direct, train, and mentor field foremen and landscape crews
Oversee day-to-day field operations across commercial and public-sector projects
Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and resource allocation
Ensure landscape installations are completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
Conduct daily job-site inspections and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements
Monitor labor efficiency, production, schedules, and daily field reports
Communicate project progress, challenges, and resource needs to Project Managers
Serve as a key point of contact between field crews, Project Managers, general contractors, and clients
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain irrigation systems as needed
Coordinate material and equipment requirements with the office team
Identify and resolve field issues quickly to keep projects on schedule

Qualifications

5+ years of professional landscape industry experience
Commercial and/or public-sector landscape experience required
Strong knowledge of landscape installation and maintenance practices
Proficiency with irrigation systems
Hands-on experience with landscape equipment
Previous experience supervising crews, foremen, or field personnel
Strong understanding of job-site safety and OSHA requirements
Ability to read plans, manage priorities, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Spanish-speaking skills preferred
