Description

Field Specialist, Field Services Support

Southern Chicago Area.
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour.

We're seeking a skilled Field Specialist to service, troubleshoot, and repair advanced office equipment at customer locations throughout the Southern Chicago area. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain multifunction printers, copiers, and related office technology.
Manage a designated service territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians.
Identify equipment upgrade and service opportunities.
Complete service documentation and administrative tasks accurately.
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

3+ years of field service or related technical experience.
Technical school training or equivalent experience.
At least one industry certification.
Strong electro-mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the territory.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move equipment as needed.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Daily travel to customer locations.
