As a Combustion Field Service Technician, you will be maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial combustion systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in combustion equipment, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The combustion service technicians are generally part of a team of other skilled workers; however, their duties are often performed with minimal supervision so the candidate must be comfortable working independently in a factory setting. Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial combustion systems, including burners, and heat exchangers. Troubleshoot and diagnose performance issues using specialized tools, meters, and analyzers. Calibrate and adjust combustion equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with emissions regulations. Perform regular preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Install, test, and commission new combustion systems, ensuring they meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Document all service work, including diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments, in detailed service reports. Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues, provide solutions, and recommend system improvements. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in combustion and heating systems. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies during service and repair activities.
