Field Service Technician

Must have previous hardware repair experience, have ability to work on their own, lift 75lbs, work flexible hours, complete required paperwork and have excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: Worker will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in client stores.

Our client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Field Service Technician for their Seattle/Tacoma WA/Portland, OR  location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Worker will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in client stores.
• Must have previous hardware repair experience, have ability to work on their own, lift 75lbs, work flexible hours, complete required paperwork and have excellent customer service skills.
• Individuals are responsible to repair, stage, configure and QA IT hardware to stores and field service technicians.
• This position will also refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment.
• Constant walking and standing. Constant lifting less then 30lbs but occasionally lifting up to 80lbs with assistance.
• Administer asset tracking using Client software systems.
• Provide staging, configuration and bench repairs of specific Client store hardware.
• Process all applicable warranty claims.
• Accurately record all production details and inventory movements.
• Refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment.

 
Requirements:

• Technical individual with 2 year technical school and/or experience preferred. Administrative computer skills, Word and Excel also preferred
• Strong attentional to detail
• Must be able to multi-task
• Good mechanical aptitude
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical certifications or education preferred
