Are you a skilled technician with a passion for mechanical repair? We're looking for a dedicated Service Technician to join our team, in the shop and in field-service, to maintain and repair equipment. If you have a knack for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing machine repairs, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, test, and diagnose rental industrial air compressors, power generation, and HVAC equipment in our shop and in the field from a company service vehicle.
  • Equipment to be supported includes generators, transformers, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, DX air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heaters (NG, propane, and electric), Air compressors (oil-flooded and oil-free), and ancillary equipment.
  • Safely perform normal machine repairs.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel engines and equipment.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience/Requirements:

  • Three years of hands-on mechanical repair experience with diesel engines, including troubleshooting and repairs will be required.
  • Prior experience with air compressors, power generators, and portable commercial/industrial HVAC equipment will be a plus.
  • Must have valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Card if not possessed already.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Willingness to train through company-provided training courses
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into and onto machines with be required. Position functions require normal dexterity and repetitive and frequent movements requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
