Job Details

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Field Service Technician to perform overnight cleaning, preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial air cleaning and ventilation equipment.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that involves working with tools, climbing ladders, accessing rooftops, and servicing equipment at commercial and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable working overnight hours, and isn't afraid to get dirty!

Responsibilities

Clean, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, install, and repair commercial and industrial air cleaning and ventilation equipment.
Service exhaust systems, ventilation fans, ductwork, filtration systems, and related mechanical equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with equipment repairs and component replacements.
Remove grease, dust, debris, and buildup from ventilation and filtration systems.
Assist with equipment installations, replacements, and modifications.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other maintenance equipment.
Access rooftops and elevated work areas to inspect and service equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Document completed work and communicate equipment issues to the appropriate team members.
Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete service calls efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, HVAC, equipment repair, industrial cleaning, or a related hands-on field preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to lift and position up to 50 pounds overhead safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and work at elevated heights while following required safety procedures.
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in environments involving grease, dirt, dust, and mechanical equipment.
Must be available and willing to work overnight shifts.
Reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience with ventilation systems, exhaust equipment, or air filtration systems is a plus.
