Field Service Technician

Job Title: Field Service Technician I

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 2 Months

Working Hours: 7am-4:30pm

Summary:

• Executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a safe working environment and culture within the organization.
• Take care of company property.
• Troubleshoot systems for mechanical and electrical equipment conditions.
• Identify and remedy safety issues in both company and customer-owned equipment.
• Directly interface with customers; potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies.
• Serve as the first line of technical service support, customer-facing with high utilization.
• Accountable to the customer for the operation and repair of the system.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Technical experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including smart devices.
• Must have customer service experience.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Able to pass a credit check.
• Able to obtain a CDL, class A or B, with applicable endorsements.
• Able to accommodate as a driver in a company vehicle.
• 1-3 years of experience required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with water valve, plumbing, trades reverse osmosis.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
• Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
• Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• May work indoors and outdoors as needed, exposed to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
• May work in areas where noise level requires hearing protection.
• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt; work surfaces may include concrete.
• Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
• Some travel to other locations, meetings, and/or seminars is required.
