Description

TheTechnician, Service employee must troubleshoot via email, phone, or in person, work to repair or maintain Wassenburg Medical, Inc. devices or equipment, and maintain files for each Wassenburg Medical device.

This position is not in the IT field, but computer knowledge is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Required to travel to facilities to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on machines and equipment in the field. Up to 25% overnight travel may be required.
  • Assists Service and other Customer Training technicians with technical questions.
    Addresses customer questions and concerns.
  • Answers incoming phone calls and documents accordingly.
  • Troubleshoots via phone or email professionally.
  • Assist Wassenburg MedicalSalespersonnel in all forms of systems sales, service, installs, and hospital personnel.
  • Assist in training of coworkers in areas of service, repair, and preventative maintenancewhen designated.
  • Assist the Assistant Service/ASP Manager with all assigned tasks.
  • Assist all company personnel with questions and answers on a variety of subjects.
  • Contact customers with preventative maintenance contracts to set up appointments.
  • Dispatched for service and preventative maintenance calls.
  • Addresses installation requirements and service related questions from all parties.
  • Maintains and submits spreadsheets for expenses, calls, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Interacts with Sales to coordinate paperwork and forms prior to installation and training.
  • Complete and maintain all forms and files related to Device History Records (DHR), FDA regulations, and computer records.
  • Maintain DHR files in every aspect.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education Required:
High SchoolDiploma, Associate Degree, or twoor more years of work experience in a related field.

 

Practical Experience:
Proficient in the use of a computer. Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge required. Understanding of computer operating system, file structure, and hardware. Previous travel experience required. Previous electromechanical experience required.
