Position Summary
FlexTG is expanding our Field Service Technician and is looking for skilled, customer-focused professionals to join us.
In this role, you’ll manage your own service territory, performing maintenance and repair of office equipment while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain office equipment to maximize uptime
- Respond to service calls and complete customer visits efficiently
- Communicate clearly with customers to ensure a positive service experience
- Manage daily workload and prioritize service requests effectively
- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic networking issues
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate updates with internal teams
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong troubleshooting ability with independent problem-solving skills
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Basic computer and analytical skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (pulling, lifting, reaching, transporting equipment)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience maintaining and repairing office equipment
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts
- Experience in a field service or customer-facing technical role
