Mon-Thurs or Tues-Friday
6am-430pm
Position Summary:
Executes filed service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization. Takes care of company property. Trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions. Identify and remedy safety issues both Company and Customer owned equipment. Direct interfacing with customer. Potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies. Organization Impact: First line of technical service support. Customer facing. High utilization. Accountable to customer for operation and repair of the system.
Position Requirements
Formal Education: HS diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge & Experience:
Ability to obtain TWIC card. Technical experience. Experience with Microsoft office including smart devises. Must have customer service experience. Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability. Able to pass a credit check. Able to obtain a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements.
Driving Requirements:
Able to operate a company vehicle. Able to pass driver requirements which include: Driver Application for Employment. Driver Disclosure and Release. Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement. FMCSA Certificate of Awareness. Driver Certificate of Violations. Driver Statement of On Duty Hours. Road Test. Copy of Drivers License (Front and Back). Copy of Medical Certificate.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. Work surfaces may include concrete. Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required. 1-3 years experience
Ensuring the readiness of power equipment, tracking/upkeep equipment
Inventory, hands on exercising and turning of water valves and fire hydrants using hand tools and power tools
General small engine maintenance
