Field Service Technician

Sanco Equipment is looking for an experienced Mobile Equipment Technician to join our Rochester service team.
This is a field-service position working on compact and heavy construction equipment throughout the territory. You'll be provided with a late-model, service truck that you take home every night. Sanco covers the fuel, maintenance, and operating costs.
As a full-line Bobcat and XCMG dealer, you'll work on a wide range of equipment and have access to manufacturer training, diagnostic tools, technical support, and an experienced Parts and Service team.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations and jobsites
- Repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, emissions systems, and attachments
- Use manufacturer diagnostic software and specialized service tools
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, warranty repairs, and field campaigns
- Identify needed repairs and communicate findings with customers and the Service team.

What We're Looking For
- Experience repairing construction, agricultural, heavy equipment, or similar machinery
- Strong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently in the field
- Experience with electronic diagnostic software and service tools
- Bobcat, XCMG, or similar equipment experience is a plus
- Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
