Field Service Technician / Construction Equip Mechanic

Position Summary

Are you ready to join the 4Rivers Equipment dream team?  We’re on a mission to keep our customers’ equipment running like a charm, and we need highly skilled, self-motivated, and efficient Service Technicians to make it happen!  4Rivers Equipment in Albuquqerque, NM  location is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time Field Service Technician position .

The successful candidate will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field, machinery diagnostics and repairs as required, representing the dealership with efficiency and professionalism by providing service solutions and enhanced customer service second to none.

Your Epic Duties:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment. 
• Engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valves and pump wizardry, and transmission repairs are all in a day’s work!
• Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts.
• Keep meticulous records of equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
• Be a mentor and guide for other technicians and apprentice technicians.
• Attend company sponsored training to level up your skills, knowledge, and expertise.
• Keep our service trucks and all company assets in top-notch shape.
• Always put safety first by adhering to all established safety protocols – whether you’re operating power tools, lifts, welders, or cranes.
• Embrace and embody the standards and values of 4Rivers Equipment.
• And, of course, tackle any other task assigned with efficiency and professionalism.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training
• Strong communication skills and self-motivated spirit
• CDL not required but preferred.
